    Hi there. We are Julie and Kyle Venne. We reside in Georgetown, Ontario with our two children. Kyle has owned and operated Kaven Construction & Renovations Inc. for the past 8 years and runs a crew of 5. His company specializes in home additions, custom garage builds and large scale renovations. Julie is an elementary school teacher. Over the past few years we have done many renovation projects and have recently decided to focus on the BRRR strategy (Buy, Renovate, Rent, Refinance, Repeat) to help us scale our real estate portfolio.     We are currently in the midst of completing a full house renovation on an Acton Bungalow. We will use this home as a short-term rental. Stay tuned for videos and pictures.

  • Why We Invest In Real Estate

    After flipping a few of our primary residences we quickly realized how we were raising value of a property in a short period of time. The process for us is quick and manageable because Kyle runs a general contractor company. Kyle is able to run multiple jobs simultaneously and keep projects moving forward under tight timelines. We decided to diversify into self managed real estate investing because it is where we see the best returns on our money as opposed to RRSP's, etc. Real Estate, done right, is one of the most effective ways to build wealth. We chose the name Taylaw Developments after our children Tayah and Lawson because it is our goal to create intergenerational wealth.
